In the film, the 17-year-old takes on the role of Bethany Hamilton, who at just 13-years-old lost her arm after being attacked by a shark.
After the tragic attack in 2003, Bethany courageously got back on her surf board and became a champion.
The film was released in cinemas at the end of March and both Bethany, now 21, and Annasophia attended the red carpet premiere.
And the girls, who became good friends while filming, were spending time together in Oahu on the beach.

Meanwhile, Miss Robb, who also starred in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Violet Beauregarde in 2005, has another film due out next year.
She has a role in the fantasy adventure Pan, which is a spin on J.M. Barrie’s tale of Peter Pan, where Pan is a villain being hunted by a police captain named Hook.
